#R1# Samus connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.#CUT2# It looks like Jacob Wise has been cut. Wise misses the jab. Wise will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It seemed like Samus was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Samus scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wise in his tracks. Samus scores with a hook. Wise moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. BOOM! Samus lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wise. Wise tries to recover but Samus is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wise lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lotos Samus! An out of breath Lotos Samus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

#R1# Joudeh doesn't manage to clinch there - Wise circles away.
Wise lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Joudeh lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Joudeh.#TD2# Wise looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wise lands a nice short elbow. Wise has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wise trying to control the action but Joudeh is working from the bottom. Wise looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Wise seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Joudeh does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wise performing his best blanket impression for a moment. #SUB2# Wise is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Joudeh showed some decent athleticism there. #ES2# Wise kicks off Joudeh and gets to his feet. #T3##TD2# Wise drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#SUB2# Wise tries for a kimura but Joudeh is defending well. Joudeh bucks up and tries to throw Wise off but instead Wise has got his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joudeh wants to escape the position.

Wise is punishing Joudeh with strikes - can he finish him?! Joudeh prevents Wise from getting a body triangle. Wise punishes Joudeh with strikes from the back mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Joudeh tries to close the distance and clinch but Wise swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wise works Joudeh's body with a nice hook. Wise swats away the attempt to clinch by Joudeh. Joudeh definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fahed Joudeh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joudeh takes a body punch but keeps moving. Fahed Joudeh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Wise drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Joudeh is looking to reverse the position.#SUB2# Wise thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #T1# Wise lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Joudeh tries to improve position but can't. #SUB2# Wise is trying to get an arm triangle but Joudeh is defending well. Joudeh tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Wise keeps control of the position as Joudeh tries to break free.

#R1# Mallari is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wise sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #TD# Mallari gets caught napping as Wise dives in and scores a takedown. Mallari manages to retain guard. Wise won't allow Mallari to sweep him here. Mallari is trying to control the position but Wise postures up. Wise would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mallari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wise. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wise won't allow Mallari to sweep him here. Wise working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wise tries to free his leg and advance position but Mallari is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wise accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wise engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mallari displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. #T1# Mallari darts in looking for a takedown but Wise gets double underhooks and turns Mallari into the cage. Mallari shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wise connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jacob Wise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marc Mallari. Mallari shoots in but no luck this time. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wise. Wise tries a head kick but it misses.
