Dorsey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #TD2# Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.#ES# Dorsey pushes Jones off and gets back to his feet.
#CL# Dorsey closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dorsey tries to pull guard but Jones holds him up against the cage and eventually Dorsey drops back down to his feet.

Jones is trying to break free.#T1# Jones working hard to break the clinch.#TD2# Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dorsey uses from the top position. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones looking to control but Dorsey passes into half guard.

#T2# Dorsey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head. Dorsey passes into side control, despite Jones's attempt to control the position.
Dorsey working away. Jones is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dorsey is one step ahead and moves to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dorsey blocks Jones's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Dorsey knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground. Dorsey manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jones to take his back!#SUB# Dorsey is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Dorsey not allowing Jones to control his hands. #T3# You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
#SUB# Dorsey looking for the choke but no joy. Dorsey is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones tries to roll but Dorsey sticks to his back.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Even with his hooks in, Dorsey manages to miss with strikes from the back. I really don't envy Jones right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Santo Dorsey dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dorsey circles away quickly and effectively.#CL# Dorsey closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage. Dorsey goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
#TD2# Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dorsey tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position. Dorsey really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dorsey is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Santo Dorsey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#T1# Jones passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Dorsey! Jones prevents Dorsey from getting the reversal. Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dorsey hang on? The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dorsey is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action. Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Dorsey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Dorsey looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Jones! Submission of the night perhaps?
