Hickson shoots in looking for a takedown but Tussling manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hickson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Simard looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hickson lands a leg kick that knocks Simard off balance momentarily.
Hickson tries for a takedown but Simard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hickson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Simard swivels and escapes.
Hickson shoots for a double leg takedown but Simard sprawls well. He's pushed Hickson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Hickson. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL#
Hickson closes the distance and pushes Simard back into the cage.
Simard is trying to push Hickson away but Hickson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
