The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Bondarenko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Judo to the mat! Judo manages to get full guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Judo (0) vs (2) Bondarenko The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Judo wants to control the position but Bondarenko says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Bondarenko takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Judo is trying to maintain the position but Bondarenko is very close to passing his half guard. Bondarenko is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bondarenko is looking for a kimura here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bondarenko wants to pass to mount but Judo is defending the position. Judo is looking to improve his position.
