#R1# Wallace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duran defends it nicely. Duran shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. #CUT2# It looks like Hank Duran has been cut.#KD2# A jab-cross combination lands for Wallace and sends Duran crashing to the mat! Wallace follows him down to the mat - Duran regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #ROC2# Duran is rocked! Wallace is trying to control the action in half guard but Duran is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. #SUB2# Wallace wants to work for an arm triangle but Duran is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wallace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duran keeps working. Duran gets back to full guard.
#T1# Wallace trying to stand up but can't free himself from Duran's guard. Duran has momentary wrist control but Wallace slips an elbow through the middle. Oh Duran is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wallace gets to his feet and stands over Duran, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Duran felt that one! Wallace unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Duran from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Wallace! A very excited looking William Wallace rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
