#R1# Green takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.#CL# Steve has closed the distance and engaged Green in a clinch.
#BC2# Green breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steve on the wrong end of a nice jab.#CL# Steve clinches up with Green and pushes him back against the cage. Green tries to circle away but Steve has him pinned against the cage. Steve lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Steve lands a right hand. Steve lands with a right to the head. Steve has Green pressed against the cage, preventing Green from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Steve keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Green's efforts to push away. Steve lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Steve lands a body punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steve lands a body shot. Green is trying to break free. Steve working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.#ROC# Green is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Michael Green has been cut. Steve lands a hook to the side of the head. Green is still on wobbly legs! Can Steve finish him?#T1# Steve creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Green's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Green drops to his knees and Steve pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Steve! Mark Steve was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
