#R1# Parata missing with a left hand there. Curtin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Curtin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Curtin staying out of range there. Curtin moves forwards but Parata connects with a nice, crisp jab. Parata throws the left hand but Curtin avoids the punch easily. Curtin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Parata counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Curtin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Curtin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Parata. Parata just misses with a punch to the body.

It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round but I would say that Anaru Parata will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Curtin keeps control of Parata as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Anaru Parata is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Come on Parata - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
