A short right from King on the inside. #CUT2# It looks like George Bush has been cut.#TD# Bush has picked King up - he's going for a ride! Bush dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. King wants to stand back up but Bush manages to pass into side control.
King is trying to escape the position but Bush is controlling the position. Bush tries to advance to mount but can't. King being controlled for a moment. Bush postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bison wants to stand up but Bush is controlling him. Bison keeping moving, preventing Bush from controlling successfully. Bison can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bush controls the pace. Bush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bison wants to get back to his feet but Bush is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bison avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush prevents Bison from getting back to his feet. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#CL2# Bush closes the distance and clinches. #T1# Bush is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bison is defending well.#TD2# Bush has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bush throws a big right hand that misses. Bush wants to control from the top but Blue keeps moving. Blue can't keep his opponent in guard - Bush advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bush has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bush sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Blue defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, if Bush is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

We've been hearing good reports from Bush's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Bush takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've been told by Athanas's head coaches at The Furnace that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bush walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A clash of legs there as Athanas blocks the low kick. Athanas drops Bush with a naaaaasty hook - Bush is in real trouble here! Athanas dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hurley can do anything to dispel that myth. Divon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Bush throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Bush lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Bush chips away with some ground and pound. Divon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bush content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bush is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shakalu is controlling him. Shakalu trying to control but Bush is working from the bottom. Bush utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. He's tossed Limak clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB# Bush has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. #ES2# Limak is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Sloppy strikes from Limak. Those never looked like landing. George Bush has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kamil Limak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Limak misses with a wild combination.

Bush content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bush connects with a nice short shot to Benton's temple. Bush slows the pace down in half guard. Bush's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like Bush might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bush winds up and cracks Benton with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #CUT2# It looks like Dewey Benton has been cut. Benton pushes Bush off looking to stand but Bush dives back in and keeps control.
Bush frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Bush lands with some strikes.#ROC2# Benton is rocked! Bush softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Benton is out cold! Bush jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
