#R1# Rawlings is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bender sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #TD# Rawlings throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bender tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rawlings is in Bender's guard. Bender wants to sweep here but Rawlings controlling him for the moment. Rawlings could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Rawlings trying to control but Bender is working from the bottom. We've been hearing that Rawlings has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Rawlings makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bender utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rawlings with a nice head shot there. Rawlings might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rawlings stops Bender from standing up. Rawlings trying to control but Bender is working from the bottom. Rawlings pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bender is keeping the position for now. #T1# Bender is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bender might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rawlings haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Rawlings pushes down on Bender's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bender wants to get back to his feet. Bender is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rawlings is trying to control. Bender wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rawlings has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bender trying to hold on to Rawlings's head to control him but Rawlings postures up.
Rawlings winds up and cracks Bender with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rawlings working the head and body with strikes. Rawlings slips a nice elbow through Bender's hands, connecting with Bender's forehead. Bender really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rawlings. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rawlings moves nicely into side control. Rawlings scoring with punches and elbows. Rawlings working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Bender is squirming around, avoiding Rawlings's attempts to control the action. Bender is desperately trying to improve his position but Rawlings has a good base and remains in mount.#T3# Rawlings is in the full mount, landing strikes. Rawlings punishing his opponent with strikes. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bender can do anything to dispel that myth. Rawlings postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bender looks a forlorn figure.
Rawlings lands a couple of good shots and Bender has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Rawlings scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Bender is looking for a way out. Rawlings keeps control of the position easily here as Bender tries to buck him off.

Bender is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB# Rawlings working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Bender is doing well to defend. Rawlings seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Bender is forced to tap and this one is over!

#R1# Mierda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rawlings defends well and Mierda ends up having to push Rawlings into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rawlings stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rawlings wants it to stay on the feet.#TD# Mierda gets caught napping as Rawlings dives in and scores a takedown. Mierda manages to retain guard.#ES2# Mierda manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Mierda wants a takedown.
Bj Rawlings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorder Mierda. Rawlings is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mierda is defending well.#TD2# Mierda manages to pull guard.
#SUB2# Rawlings stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Mierda throws up his legs and catches Rawlings in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Rawlings tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Mierda! That came out of nowhere!
