#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Boruch or perhaps it was just good defense by Schmeldty, which made it look bad. Schmeldty scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Schmeldty tests Boruch's chin there with a solid looking shot. Boruch fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Schmeldty avoids it really well and circles away. Schmeldty jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schmeldty throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Boruch throws a sloppy head kick and Schmeldty moves out of range easily. Schmeldty went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL2# Boruch moves into range and clinches up with Schmeldty.#T1##TD2# Boruch pulls guard successfully.
Schmeldty wants to control from the top but Boruch keeps moving. Boruch wants to hit a switch here but Schmeldty passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Boruch there! Schmeldty lands a big shot to the head and Boruch winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Frank Knox and Mariusz Boruch. Knox's entrance music is The Game & Skrillex - El Chapo. A fine choice. Boruch has chosen Cypis - Impra jest tu as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Frank Knox! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Mariusz Boruch! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Knox shoots in but Boruch avoids the takedown attempt easily. Knox shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boruch defends it nicely. Boruch wants to clinch up but Knox keeps it at a distance. Knox shoots in looking for a takedown but Boruch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Knox's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Boruch tries to counter with a clinch but Knox shakes him off and moves away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Knox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Knox tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boruch defends well and Knox ends up having to push Boruch into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Knox shoots in for a takedown but Boruch shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Knox shoots in and drives through. Boruch sprawls well. Boruch doesn't manage to clinch there - Knox circles away.

Score +3 for passing guard: Knox (5) vs (0) Boruch The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boruch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Knox wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Knox is trying to get an arm triangle but Boruch is defending well. Boruch is trying to control Knox's posture but Knox avoids it. Boruch manages to work his way to half guard, despite Knox's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knox is looking to pass Boruch's guard but actually Boruch recovers to full guard. Knox is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Knox passes Boruch's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Knox will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Knox prevents Boruch from improving his position. Knox is looking for a kimura but Boruch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Knox to get the leverage. Boruch is trying to control but can't.
Knox is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Cash is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Boruch's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boruch working Cash over with strikes. Boruch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boruch with shots to the head and body - Cash looks very uncomfortable down there. Cash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cash wants to control but Boruch is having none of it. Cash tries to reverse the position but Boruch maintains control.#T1# Cash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boruch wants to control but Cash has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Cash punching from the bottom.
Cash is controlling Boruch's position as best he can from this difficult position. Cash is trying to get back to full guard.#T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Boruch wants to pass the guard but Cash is defending well. Boruch is controlling the pace.

Boruch wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cash manages to pass to side control. #REVB##SUB2# Boruch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cash pulls his head out easily. #T4# Cash controlling the action here.#SUB# Cash is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Boruch sees it coming and defends easily.#SUB# Cash is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cash is keen to just control but Boruch is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

#R1# Jason waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boruch. Jason misses with the combination.
A little jabbing left from Boruch on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Boruch slips a straight right by Jason. Jab by Jason. A left lands for Boruch. Jason takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Boruch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jason. Jason uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boruch. Boruch pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jason moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Good standup being displayed there by Boruch as he connects with a hook. Boruch scores with a hook.#ROC2# Jason is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jason shoots in for a takedown but Boruch shows good takedown defense. Oh Jason is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Boruch avoids the head kick by Jason.
Jason gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Boruch points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Jason wakes up just in time to hear Boruch thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

#R1# Boruch throws an overhand right that lands on Kid's shoulder, as Kid tries to avoid the shot. #TD# Kid is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boruch's half guard. Kid scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kid looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ground and pound from Kid. Kid is thwarting Boruch's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boruch wants to get back to his feet.
Kid working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kid working over Boruch with some ground and pound. Boruch looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kid landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kid slips a nice elbow through Boruch's hands, connecting with Boruch's forehead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boruch is trying to control but can't.
Kid seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kid looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boruch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are battling for position here. Boruch manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kid cracks Boruch with a solid left hand.#T1# Boruch has momentary wrist control but Kid slips an elbow through the middle. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Kid! He's tightened the choke and Kid is tapping out!

Boruch is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. #SUB2# Boruch has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Area doesn't defend quickly enough and Boruch has managed to lock this one up! Can Area escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Boruch on a fantastic submission victory.
