Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Xhaka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pluta tries to avoid it but Xhaka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pluta to the ground. Pluta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #CL# Pluta moves into the clinch.#BC# Pluta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Xhaka is down but not out! Donavon follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

#R1##CL2# Reem moves into range and clinches up with Xhaka. Xhaka drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reem lands with a light punch inside. Xhaka is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Reem to keep the fight standing. Xhaka tries to pull guard but Reem forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Volkan Xhaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reem prevents Xhaka from breaking the clinch. Xhaka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reem walks away with a smile on his face. Xhaka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Xhaka walks into a stiff left hand from Reem.#CL2# Reem closes the distance and pushes Xhaka back into the cage. A short right from Reem on the inside. Reem works on Xhaka's body with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice right hand lands inside from Reem. A short body shot lands from Reem as the two fighters clinch.

Xhaka is breathing heavily. Xhaka tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reem just stands there and leans against the cage. Reem lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. #T1# Reem pushes Xhaka back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A nice right hand lands inside from Reem. A short uppercut from Reem. Xhaka wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Reem throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Xhakas head. #ROC2# Xhaka is rocked! Reem lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Xhaka backwards. Oh Xhaka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Reem lands a big right hand that drops Xhaka! The killer instinct kicks in and Reem finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Reem!

#R1# Xhaka on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Xhaka drops his hands momentarily and Randy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Volkan Xhaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Xhaka tries to clinch but Randy moves away and Randy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Xhaka thinking. A big right followed by a crushing left from Randy knocks Xhaka out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

#R1##CL# Randy moves into range and clinches up with Xhaka. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Randy takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Randy lands a right hand. #BC# Randy breaks from the clinch.
Randy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Randy lands a body shot.
Nice takedown defense from Randy. No joy for Xhaka on that attempt. Xhaka looks to clinch and Randy counters with a straight right hand. Randy lands a nice shot to the body.
Xhaka shoots in and drives through. Randy sprawls well. Randy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL# Xhaka tries to keep at a distance but Randy has taken the fight into the clinch. Xhaka's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!#T1# Randy avoiding damage.
Randy digs a right hand into Xhaka's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Xhaka's gas tank. #BC# Randy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Randy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Xhaka fails to land the takedown. A little feinted left hand from Randy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Travis Randy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Volkan Xhaka.#T2# Xhaka looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Randy scores with a jab. Xhaka acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Randy is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Shahriari is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Xhaka is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Xhaka throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
