Link tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Maximus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#TD#
Link shoots in and gets a takedown into Maximus's guard.
Maximus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Link trying to control the position from guard on top but Maximus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Link stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Link knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maximus on the ground.

Link has hold of Maximus's hands but Maximus slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maximus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Link with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T2#

Arusha closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. #ES2#
Link manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Arusha keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Link can't break the clinch.

Arusha struggles to land a body shot inside as Link controls his hands.
Arusha prevents Link from breaking the clinch.
Arusha drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Link gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Estipo Arusha. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Link is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Arusha can't fight it off and eventually Link manages to take the fight to the floor. Arusha looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Arusha is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Arusha is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Link couldn't care less - he's delighted!
