#R1##TD2# Friel drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Friel wants to control from the top but Oneil keeps moving. #SUB# Oneil looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Oneil managing to control the position. Oneil is trying to keep Friel in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oneil has control of Friel's left arm, preventing Friel from doing any damage. #SUB# Oneil looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
#T1# Friel content to stall in guard here. Oneil keeping moving, preventing Friel from controlling successfully. Friel stops Oneil from standing up. #SUB# Oneil had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Friel defends it easily. Oneil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Friel is one step ahead there. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#SUB# Oneil has his foot on Friel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Friel works his way back into a safe position though. Oneil working a defensive guard here.
Friel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Friel wants to stand and escape but instead Oneil has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Oneil slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Friel. Friel trying to get back to full guard but Oneil takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!#T3# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Friel wants to control but Oneil is having none of it. Friel looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Friel can't escape the position.

#SUB# Oneil has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Friel! Can he survive? No! He's out! Oneil gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
