Maichuso should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#CL# Champion moves into range and clinches up with Maichuso. Maichuso stalling in the clinch but Champion improves position. Maichuso wants a takedown.
#BC2# Maichuso breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Champion wants to clinch but Maichuso slips to the side#TD2# and Maichuso counters with a nice double leg into guard. Maichuso connects with a couple of short punches. Maichuso has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Maichuso trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Maichuso stopping the sweep attempt from Champion. Maichuso looking to pass the guard. Champion looking to control.
Maichuso trying to control the position from guard on top but Champion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Champion is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Maichuso sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Champion is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

He has the arm isolated but Champion is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Maichuso connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Champion some visible discomfort.
Champion is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Maichuso has just dragged him back down to the mat.#SUB2# Maichuso tries for a kimura. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Champion has his hands clasped together but Maichuso extends and breaks Champion's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Maichuso.
