Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Dumba Diame and Buster Kneecap. Kneecap is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD - GONE. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Buster Kneecap was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Dumba Diame! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Buster Kneecap! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kneecap is defended easily by Diame. Diame will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kneecap drives through with a takedown into Diame's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Knox might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kneecap haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Knox wants to control but Kneecap is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kneecap is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Knox sees it coming and defends easily.

Kneecap has chosen SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD - GONE as his entrance music. Buster Kneecap told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Galvao fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kneecap to the ground. Galvao is now in Kneecap's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Galvao (2) vs (0) Kneecap Galvao trying to control the position from guard on top but Kneecap is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Galvao won't allow Kneecap to sweep him here. Kneecap is trying to control the position but Galvao postures up. Galvao controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kneecap is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kneecap pushes a forearm under Galvao's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Galvao is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
