It looks like Andy Samberg has been cut.
Putik cracks Samberg with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Samberg looks to throw the jab but Putik is out of range.
Samberg scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mcdowell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Samberg tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcdowell is in Samberg's guard.
Mcdowell lands a couple of digs.
Mcdowell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Samberg wants to sweep but no luck.
Samberg pulls Mcdowell in close to prevent any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Samberg can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcdowell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
