Hyde displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oade. #TD# Hyde looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.#SUB# Hyde is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Hyde is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Oade is just riding it out for now. Hyde eventually gives up the hold. Hyde missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hyde could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T1# Hyde is thwarting Oade's attempts to control the position.#SUB# Hyde wants to work for an arm triangle but Oade is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oade is controlling Hyde's position as best he can from this difficult position.#SUB# Hyde is trying for a kimura here. Oade looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hyde wins by kimura!
