Sadeq has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rivera regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sadeq passes Rivera's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sadeq is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rivera has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sadeq is working away from the top position though.

Rivera goes for a double leg but Burns avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Burns continues to drive forward.

Cortez Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmie Rivera.
