#BC2# Bennet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Christopher Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin with a hook. A punch lands to the side of Bennet 's head but he takes it in his stride.#CL# Martin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bennet, pushing him back against the cage. Martin lands a hook to the side of the head. Martin blocks an uppercut.
Bennet looks winded! Martin wants to break free but Bennet has control.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bennet has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bennet is working for takedown but Martin is calmly controlling the position for now. Bennet tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Martin smiles and moves away.
Martin connects with a nice looking jab.
A cross from Martin lands. Martin lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Bennet falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
