Bell was covering up waiting for the punch and Vrinz finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell is wriggling around but Vrinz manages to pass to half guard.

The ref tackles Vrinz to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Bell was done.

#R1##TD2# Price fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bell sprawls well initially but Price persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Price is working away from the top position though.#SUB2# Bell is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Price has latched onto it... Big trouble! Price pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Bell is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Price!

Bell tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Joah just stands there and leans against the cage.#BC2# Joah breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#TD2# Joah shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Joah showed some decent athleticism there. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Joah in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Joah is trying to work for a kimura but Bell is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joah controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joah slips a nice elbow through Bell's hands, connecting with Bell's forehead.#T1# Bell won't allow Joah to pass to mount. Joah drops an elbow to the side of Bell's head. Bell is trying to control but Joah manages to pass to mount!
Bell is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Bell tries to hold on but Joah postures up. Bell is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Joah is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Joah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bell is trying to reverse the position but instead Joah has taken his back - oops! Joah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. I really don't envy Bell right now.

Cordolha in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Bell avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cordolha. Pena tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pena tries to clinch up but Bell circles away and keeps his distance. #R1##TD2# Franco looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bell! Bell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Franco asserts his dominance and retains side control. Bell is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Franco connects with a nice short shot to Bell's temple. Franco working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #ROC2# Bell is rocked! Franco scores with a big shot! Bell's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bell! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
