#R1# Butler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #TD2# and Francis counters with a shoot takedown. Butler fights it but they end up in guard. Butler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Francis manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Butler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Butler wants to control from the top but Francis keeps moving. Francis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Butler content to stall in guard here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butler tries to free his leg and advance position but Francis is retaining full guard. Francis trying to control the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Francis can do anything to dispel that myth. Butler wants to free his trapped foot but Francis is holding on for dear life with his legs. Butler lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #R1# Francis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Mumba lands a glancing blow to the side of Francis's head. Francis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Francis fails with the takedown. Mumba moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Francis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mumba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL# Mumba gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mumba lands a shot to the body. Mumba lands with a light punch inside. #T1# Mumba presses Francis against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Francis looks winded! A short right hand to the side of the head by Mumba. Mumba gets through Francis's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mumba throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Francis stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mumba catches Francis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Good exchange - Mumba coming out on top. Francis has his takedown stuffed#CL# and Mumba holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A short uppercut from Mumba. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mumba makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Mumba scores with a shoulder strike. Mumba lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Francis is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mumba lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Francis to his knees! Mumba keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ubungu Mumba was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. #R1# Thomson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Francis avoids it really well and circles away. Francis slaps away a takedown attempt from Thomson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Francis avoids the head kick by Thomson.
Francis swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thomson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Francis has time to react. Francis is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thomson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Thomson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Francis is looking to counter with head kicks. Francis misses with a takedown attempt - Tucker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Francis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tucker defends well and Francis ends up having to push Tucker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#CL2# Tucker drives through and clinches with Francis against the cage.
