Montgomery Iii engages and cracks Ricochet with a massive lead left hook - Ricochet tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Montgomery Iii is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The Eagle really is a fat lump. The Eagle fails with a takedown attempt. Ricochet has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.#CL# The Eagle closes the distance and clinches. #TD# The Eagle pulls guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Eagle managing to control the position. Ricochet is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#T1# The Eagle wants to sweep here but Ricochet controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Eagle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. #R1# Ricochet stuffs the takedown attempt from Skinner. Skinner gets slowly back to his feet. #CL# Ricochet clinches up with Skinner and pushes him back against the cage. Skinner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ricochet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Skinner doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
#BC# Ricochet's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Some wild striking there from Skinner.
Skinner with a poor takedown and Ricochet counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ramsy Ricochet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Skinner. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Skinner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ricochet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ricochet wants it to stay on the feet.#TD2# Skinner manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ricochet on his heels. #R1# Ricochet shoots for a double leg takedown but David sprawls well. He's pushed Ricochet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ricochet misses with a head kick.
David fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ricochet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. David scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ricochet doesn't seem bothered though. David's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ricochet under the eye. Ricochet is breathing heavily. David ducks down and throws a hook to the body. David lands an overhand right. Ricochet shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. David defends it nicely.#KD2# David bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Ricochet! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Ricochet is looking to stand back up but McDonald counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ricochet. #REVB# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDonald has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. McDonald throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Ricochet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Georges. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ricochet lands some shots froms side control. Georges looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A lull in the action here as Ricochet stalls from top position. Ricochet lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Georges down.
Ricochet remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Ricochet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
