#R1# Dillock shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Swire counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A jab from Swire does it's job there. Dillock looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. #CUT2# It looks like Davey Dillock has been cut. Swire dips down and scores with a jab to the body.#TD# Dillock scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Swire pushes Dillock off but Dillock dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dillock trying to control the action but Swire is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Swire can do anything to dispel that myth. Dillock is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. #SU# Dillock decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T1# Swire scores with the left hand. Dillock knows he should have avoided that one. Rob Swire is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#CL# Dillock drives through and clinches with Swire against the cage.
Dillock wants to take the fight to the mat but Swire manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Swire lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Swire lands an uppercut. Swire throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dillocks head. Swire scores with a nice hook to the head. A nice left hand lands by Swire.
#BC2# Swire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Swire connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dillock's hands. Dillock tries to clinch and Swire counters with a straight punch to the midsection.#T2# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice sprawl there from Swire as Dillock shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davey Dillock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dillock wants to clinch but Swire slips to the side and Swire counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dillock. It seemed like Swire was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Davey Dillock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dillock is breathing heavily. Swire throws a monster overhand right that drops Dillock! Swire follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
