Heath is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Heath tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ge presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heath really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

#CUT2# It looks like Scoobie Ge has been cut. Frank takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Frank scores with a nice right hand.
Frank misses with a wild body shot. Frank slaps away a takedown attempt from Ge, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ge shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Frank misses the shot to the body. We've been informed that Frank has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Ge throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Frank counter with a right hand. A big left from Frank misses. Ge swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Ge moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Frank thuds his right hand into Ge's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ge tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frank sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ge somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scoobie Ge. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ge connects with a leg kick. Frank looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. #T1# Ge uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frank .
Darius Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ge throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Frank throws a right hand that Ge ducks under and follows up with a left that Ge also avoids with ease. Ge ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ge moves out of range of the strikes. Ge slips a jab from Frank . Frank throws an overhand right that lands on Ge's shoulder, as Ge tries to avoid the shot. #KD2# Frank lands a big right hand that sends Ge crashing to the mat! Frank stays standing though and waves Ge back to his feet!#CUT2# Scoobie Ge's cut is getting worse. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Frank throws an overhand right that drops Ge like a sack of potatoes! Frank dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#TD2# Mathews gets caught flat footed, as Ge shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Ge wants to control from the top but Mathews keeps moving. Mathews wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #T1# Mathews is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ge is controlling him. Ge controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mathews throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Ge might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mathews haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mathews prevents Ge from getting back to his feet.
