Toten uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The Beast goes for a double leg but Toten avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Toten continues to drive forward. Toten scores with a jab to the head.

and Paulsen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. The Beast cracks Paulsen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The Beast jabbing away but nothing is landing. Paulsen appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. The Beast misses with a looping right. Paulsen connects with an inside leg kick. Paulsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Nice uppercut lands for The Beast. That snapped Paulsen's head back.
Paulsen ducks right into an uppercut from The Beast. #TD2# The Beast gets a takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Paulsen is looking for a sweep. The Beast is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The Beast works his foot free and advances to mount. #SUB2# The Beast working for a guillotine from mount but Paulsen is in no mood to give up. #T1##SUB2# Paulsen defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from The Beast. The Beast lands a couple of good shots and Paulsen has given up his back, trying to escape the position! The Beast is hanging on to Paulsen's back as he tries to escape.
Paulsen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# The Beast has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Torres looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The Beast fails with the takedown#CL2# and Torres moves into the clinch.#TD# The Beast successfully pulls guard.
Torres wants to stand but The Beast is controlling his posture from full guard. #SUB# The Beast had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Torres defends it easily. Torres wants to control from the top but The Beast keeps moving. Torres must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Torres got a little sloppy there for a moment and The Beast has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! Curze using the Thai plumb to throw knees but The Beast has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The Beast keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Biante. The Beast throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Biante stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The Beast uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Biante.
Biante has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Biante fails to land with a series of punches.

Cobb slaps away a takedown attempt from The Beast, before circling back to the center of the mat. It seemed like Cobb was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The Beast lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
#CUT# It looks like Semmy Cobb has been cut. Cobb lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Beast circles away quickly and effectively. We've been hearing reports that The Beast has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Cobb waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Beast. Cobb circles away from the clinch attempt.

The Beast loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The Beast prevents Gelfen from getting back to his feet. The Beast looking to pass the guard. The Beast works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB2# The Beast looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gelfen punishes The Beast's body with a nice straight punch. Gelfen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The Beast darts in looking for a takedown but Gelfen gets double underhooks and turns The Beast into the cage. The Beast doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Beast drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Gelfen lands a nice looking body shot.

#R1##TD# Zinsou dives in and scores a takedown into The Beast's guard. Zinsou tries to free his leg and advance position but The Beast is retaining full guard. We've been hearing that Zinsou has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# The Beast escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zinsou gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The Beast is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB2# The Beast pushes a forearm under Zinsou's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zinsou is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

#R1# Khule slips under a jab. The Beast shoots in but no luck this time. The Beast shoots in but Khule avoids the takedown attempt easily. Khule avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
#TD# Khule closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The Beast is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The Beast regains half guard. Khule looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks The Beast with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The Beast trying to control from the bottom.
The Beast regains full guard. Nicely done. Khule loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The Beast looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khule is one step ahead there. #SUB2# The Beast is looking to cinch up a triangle. Khule throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to The Beast's body to avoid the submission. The Beast has instead reached around Khule's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! The Beast arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
