An attempted straight right counter from Reid misses the target. Taylor throws a body shot but no joy. Good standup being displayed there by Taylor as he connects with a hook. A leg kick checked by Taylor . Taylor just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been hearing reports that Reid has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Taylor moves out of range of the strikes. Taylor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reid.
Taylor is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Reid with a body shot. Reid fails with the takedown. Taylor changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reid throws a poor cross that misses

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Taylor cracks Reid with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Reid tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Taylor pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Reid is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

#R1# A nice leg kick lands there from Bomber. Reid throws an overhand right that lands on Bomber's shoulder, as Bomber tries to avoid the shot. Bomber slips under a jab. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Reid has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD2# Reid shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bomber napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bomber dodges the ground and pound from Reid. Reid throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Bomber parries the strikes from Reid easily there. Reid is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bomber to escape.
The ground and pound from Reid seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Reid is working Bomber over with some ground and pound from side control. Reid scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bomber to see if he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reid sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bomber is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Reid throws an elbow but Bomber slips to the side and avoids it well. This has been an exciting period of action! But no, Bomber has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Reid but great work by Bomber. Reid has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bomber is working away from the top position though. Reid is pressing down on Bomber's left leg trying to get back to full guard. Bomber cracks Reid with an open hand slap.#ROC# Reid is rocked! Bomber stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bomber wants it to stay on the feet. Reid is still on wobbly legs! Can Bomber finish him? Dale Bomber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brent Reid. Reid throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Bomber counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

#R1# Domonicko is looking to land body kicks. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Reid has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Domonicko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Reid backs up against the cage.
Reid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Domonicko. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Domonicko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Reid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Reid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Reid avoids the head kick by Domonicko.
Domonicko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Reid. A little jabbing left from Reid on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Reid looks to throw the jab but Domonicko is out of range. Domonicko connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Domonicko moves into range and connects with a jab. Good standup being displayed there by Domonicko as he connects with a hook.#ROC# Reid is rocked! Javier Domonicko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reid walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Domonicko! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Kuren has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kuren shoots in but no luck this time. Reid jabbing away but nothing is landing. Asu Kuren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reid connects with a nice looking jab.
