Jennings is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jennings's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jennings's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jennings is on top in guard.
#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jennings distracts Jones with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Jennings lands a couple of decent looking shots. Jones wants to stand and escape but Jennings is having none of it. Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.#T1# Jennings with a nice head shot there. Jennings cracks Jones with a solid left hand. Jennings works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones has momentary wrist control but Jennings slips an elbow through the middle. Jones wants to stand but Jennings is controlling the position. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jennings. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jennings scoring with some ground and pound. Jones is wriggling around but Jennings manages to pass to half guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jennings prevents Jones from escaping the position. Jennings wants to get back to his feet but Guerrero is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Guerrero pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jennings is keeping the position for now. Guerrero must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Guerrero lands a couple of decent looking shots. Guerrero stops Jennings from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jennings manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guerrero manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVR# Jennings with a nice head shot there. Guerrero looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jennings puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Guerrero has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guerrero tries to hold on but Jennings pushes him away. Guerrero looks winded! Jennings has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jennings lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jennings lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Guerrero hang on? Jennings in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Jennings's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee is taking a good look at Guerrero as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Jennings!

Jennings regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Kingston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jennings. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kingston makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jennings is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Kingston slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kingston throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kingston trying to control but Jennings is working from the bottom. That was a close second round but I would say that Gil Jennings will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. That could change in an instant of course if Jennings gets his way!

Jennings fails with a takedown attempt.#KD2# Szczawinski sends Jennings crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Szczawinski is motioning to the referee to let Jennings up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2# Jennings is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Gil Jennings has been cut.#CL2# Szczawinski moves into range and clinches up with Jennings. Oh Jennings is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#TD2# Szczawinski pulls guard. Szczawinski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jennings. #SUB2# Szczawinski is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jennings is aware though and is defending well. Szczawinski pulls Jennings in to control the position. Szczawinski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jennings manages to get himself to full guard.
