#CUT2# It looks like Josh Fletcher has been cut. Plutov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Plutov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. An inside leg kick lands from Plutov. Plutov feints and then cracks Fletcher's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fletcher down. This has been an exciting period of action! Plutov slips a jab from Fletcher. Plutov let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Plutov is looking to slow Fletcher down with leg kicks. Fletcher shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. #T1# Plutov keeps Fletcher at a distance using the push kick. Plutov throws a head kick that misses and Fletcher counters with a three punch combo that has Plutov backing up. Plutov nods at Fletcher to acknowledge the strikes. Fletcher has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Plutov. Plutov throws a head kick but Fletcher moves out of range.
Fletcher sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Plutov plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Plutov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fletcher thows a left - swing and a miss! Fletcher is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A combination from Plutov does no damage. It looked like Fletcher wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Fletcher moves out of range of the body kick. Fletcher wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Fletcher looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Oh Fletcher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That kick from Plutov tenderised Fletcher's leg. Fletcher is trying to keep his angry face on. Plutov tries to clinch up but Fletcher circles away and keeps his distance. As Plutov looks to move away, Fletcher throws a big counter combo but Plutov just gets out of the way. Plutov throws a switch kick that catches Fletcher on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! Fletcher looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as Fletcher flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

The fighters circling - Fletcher throws out the jab but it was never going to land. #CL# Hicks gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hicks tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hicks misses with a short punch on the inside. Hicks tries for a takedown but Fletcher manages to get underhooks.

Hicks has a closed guard, preventing Fletcher from standing up. #SUB# Fletcher got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hicks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fletcher has managed to get both his arms back between Hicks's legs - danger averted. Hicks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T2##SU2# Fletcher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. That sent Hicks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sloppy strikes from Fletcher. Those never looked like landing. Fletcher swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
