That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Gold. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vos misses with the combination.

Finn Vos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Van Der Teelt dives in and grabs Vos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vos pushes down on Van Der Teelt's head and hops out. Van Der Teelt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vos misses with a wild combination.
Van Der Teelt throws a big counter combination but Vos scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Van Der Teelt pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. #R1# Vos throws a right and a left that Rowan avoids nicely. Rowan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rowan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Vos lands a head kick. Rowan smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Nice body punch from Vos. #TD# Vos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rowan's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Vos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Rowan lands a couple of decent looking shots.#CUT# It looks like Finn Vos has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rowan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vos's head. Rowan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. and Thai counters with a stiff right hand. Finn Vos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Thai cracks Vos with a right hand to the side of the head. Vos is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Vos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A head kick misses from Vos. Thai looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Vos throws a series of punches but Thai moves out of range. Thai jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Vos had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Thai scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Vos is breathing heavily. Vos tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Thai to counter with a crisp jab. Thai thuds a left hand into Vos's body. Vos seems to have got his legs back now.#KD2# Thai cracks Vos with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Thai has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vos to stand back up! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thai drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Vos's head, knocking him out cold! Thai is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
