Master throws a right hand that Klegr ducks under and follows up with a left that Klegr also avoids with ease.
Master shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Klegr eats them both and turns towards Master to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Klegr wants to clinch
and Master counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A jab from Master does it's job there.
Nice straight punches there by Master. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Master.
Master circles away from the clinch attempt

Master scores with a body shot.
Klegr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Master throws out a powerful jab.
Klegr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Klegr is looking to clinch but Master is avoiding it.
Master feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Klegrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Master jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Klegr ducks right into an uppercut from Master.
Klegr is still on wobbly legs! Can Master finish him?
Master throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Klegr crashing down! Klegr tries to stagger back to his feet but Master just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Klegr asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ulua Master!

Shabott tries to clinch but Klegr is having none of it.
Shabott goes for a double leg but Klegr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Klegr continues to drive forward.
Klegr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Shabott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss. #CL2#
Klegr moves into the clinch.
Shabott is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Klegr pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Shabott fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shabazz Shabott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shabott jumps guard but Klegr stands there with Shabott around his waist. Shabott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shabott is working for takedown but Klegr is calmly controlling the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klegr has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Shabott after a bit of a struggle.

Shabott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As Klegr tries to get set, Shabott tries to push him back and clinch up but Klegr manages to avoid the attempt.
Shabott shoots for a double leg takedown but Klegr sprawls well. He's pushed Shabott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Klegr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It looks like Klegr might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Klegr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hawke is just riding it out for now. Klegr eventually gives up the hold.
Hawke has hold of Klegr's hands but Klegr slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Klegr is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Hawke off. It looks like it's working - Hawke slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Klegr displaying calm under pressure there. #T2#
