Nicholson is looking for a counter combo. Jones dives in for a single leg takedown but Nicholson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. It looked like Nicholson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Dominick Nicholson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Nicholson is breathing heavily. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wood takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Wood taking a breather. Wood pushes Nicholson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Wood gets through Nicholson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nicholson but Nicholson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nicholson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nicholson slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
