and Uesugi counters with a left to the body.
Uesugi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Uesugi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Joes at a distance.
Uesugi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Joes takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Joes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uesugi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Uesugi lands a jab to Joes's midsection.

Uesugi circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Joes to the canvas! Joes doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Uesugi keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Schmitt.
Joes darts in looking for a takedown but Schmitt gets double underhooks and turns Joes into the cage.
Joes closes the distance and clinches up with Schmitt, looking for a takedown. Joes pushes Schmitt against the cage but Schmitt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Schmitt looks to score with a jab to the body but Joes is just out of range.
