#R1##CL2# Flet gets in close and instigates a clinch. #TD2# Flet wants the takedown. Bowen is fighting it off but Flet persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bowen's guard against the cage. Bowen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB# Bowen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flet doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flet manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. #SUB# Bowen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
#SUB# Bowen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Flet is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Bowen looking for a triangle here. Flet is fighting it but it looks tight! Bowen pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Flet is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Johnathon Bowen!
