St Pierre pushes down on Rivera's leg and manages to get into half guard. St Pierre looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Rivera is not content to let St Pierre control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. St Pierre frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rivera could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2# St Pierre is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rivera is surviving well by controlling St Pierre's body position as best he can. #T1# Rivera wants to try and get back to his feet. St Pierre with good strikes from the mount here! St Pierre tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. St Pierre avoids the attempt from Rivera to control. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, St Pierre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rivera is squirming around, avoiding St Pierre's attempts to control the action. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rivera content to stall in guard here. St Pierre has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Georges St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! #R3# No joy there for St Pierre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
