#R1# Mo fails with a takedown attempt. #TD# Davies closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davies lands in his opponent's guard. Davies connects with a couple of short punches. Davies not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davies connects with a couple of short punches.#T1# Davies looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Davies wants to stand but Mo has a closed guard, so he can't escape. #SUB# Davies drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Davies jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mo being controlled here, momentarily. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. #BC2# Mo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Davies fails with the takedown. Davies shoots in looking for a takedown but Mo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Davies's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mo throws a head kick that half lands.
Mo dives in for a single leg takedown but Davies sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mo shoots for a double leg takedown but Davies sprawls well. He's pushed Mo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #T4# Davies fails with the takedown. Davies sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davies lands a nice shot to the head. Peter Davies dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3# Mo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Davies changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Peter Davies is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davies tries to avoid it but Mo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davies to the ground. Davies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Davies is looking for a counter combo. Possibly, maybe, no Davies has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Mo tries to bench press Davies off him but Davies keeps the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mo is trying to escape the position but Davies is controlling the position. #T3# Davies has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davies but Davies pushes him off and we're back to square one. Peter Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Mo. Mo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Davies tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Davies throws a series of punches but Mo avoids them all with ease. Davies throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.#CL# Davies pushes Mo up against the cage in a clinch.#T4##TD# Davies has clasped his hands together around Mo's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mo struggling a bit here. Mo is looking for a sweep. Davies trying to control the position but Mo is working away. Davies scores with punches from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davies tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Eric Mo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Davies is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mo is letting Davies control him for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Davies showed his dominance in that final round. Well Davies has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
