PorKvartir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duplesris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. PorKvartir is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. PorKvartir seems a little lost for a moment, as Duplesris dominates the positioning. Duplesris scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at PorKvartir to see if he's OK. PorKvartir pushes Duplesris away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Duplesris gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dalisay has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Dalisay scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. PorKvartir gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Dalisay points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. PorKvartir wakes up just in time to hear Dalisay thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Byers tries to pull guard but PorKvartir forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Byers stops a takedown attempt from PorKvartir.

PorKvartir throws a head kick that misses and Byers counters with a one-two to the body. PorKvartir throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! PorKvartir swinging wildly here.
