#R1# Pakyaw tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pakyaw paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Pakyaw misses with a series of wild punches.
Alexander Gus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pakyaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Pakyaw does it's job there.#CUT# It looks like Alexander Gus has been cut. Gus connects with a single shot there.#CUT2# It looks like Manny Pakyaw has been cut. Pakyaw throws a sloppy head kick and Gus counters with a nice uppercut. #CL# Pakyaw pushes Gus up against the ropes in a clinch. A bit of stalling here from Pakyaw.
#BC2# Gus manages to break the clinch.
Pakyaw is looking to clinch. Gus stuns Pakyaw with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A looping hook to the body misses from Gus. Pakyaw does a little dance to reset his feet. Pakyaw could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#CL# Pakyaw fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gus, pushing him back against the ropes.#T1# Pakyaw tries to break the clinch but Gus is controlling the position. Gus pressing his opponent against the ropes. Gus tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Gus slows down the pace here.
Pakyaw lands an elbow inside. Gus taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
#BC2# Gus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pakyaw looks like he's thinking about clinching though.#T2# Pakyaw looks to land a left hand but Gus moved out of range nicely. Pakyaw tries a head kick but it misses.
Gus looks like he wants to counter punch here. Pakyaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Pakyaw is looking to clinch. #KD2# Gus closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Pakyaw crashing to the mat! Pakyaw uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!#ROC2# Pakyaw is rocked! Pakyaw is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gus cracks Pakyaw with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

#R1##TD# Pakyaw shoots in and gets a takedown into Gustafson's guard. Pakyaw is stalling in the full guard. Pakyaw has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gustafson tries to land a sweep but no joy. #SUB2# Gustafson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pakyaw doesn't defend quickly enough and Gustafson has managed to lock this one up! Can Pakyaw escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gustafson on a fantastic submission victory.
