Ter Harkel misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Fairy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ter Harkel shoots in for a double leg but Fairy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fairy throws a sloppy head kick and Ter Harkel moves out of range easily. Fairy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.#KD# Fairy lands a left and a right that send Ter Harkel crashing to the mat, dazed. Fairy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC# Ter Harkel is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fairy lands a brutal uppercut that launches Ter Harkel off his feet! Ter Harkel tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

#R1# Saint-Perrilloux defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ter Harkel. Saint-Perrilloux keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Saint-Perrilloux looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ter Harkel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Ter Harkel's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ter Harkel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ter Harkel misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ter Harkel fails in his attempt to clinch. Saint-Perrilloux and Ter Harkel are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Saint-Perrilloux throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Ter Harkel into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Saint-Perrilloux knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ortiz. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Ortiz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Ortiz misses with a body punch.
Ortiz is trying to break the clinch but Ter Harkel has him pressed against the ropes. Ortiz stalling.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Ter Harkel's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ortiz misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ter Harkel.

#R1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ter Harkel. Renton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Renton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Ter Harkel shoots in for a takedown but Renton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Renton smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ter Harkel is breathing heavily. Renton keeps the fight on the outside. Ter Harkel switches off momentarily and Renton cracks him with a monster right hand! Ter Harkel topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Renton dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Renton!

Ter Harkel throws a sloppy head kick and Carlos moves out of range easily. Ter Harkel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Carlos throws a series of punches but Ter Harkel avoids them all with ease. Ter Harkel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carlos defends it nicely. Wilson Carlos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloppy strikes from Carlos. Those never looked like landing. Carlos misses with a double jab.

Carlos dives into mount looking to finish! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice work there by Ter Harkel and Carlos has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Carlos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Ter Harkel drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Carlos follows Ter Harkel to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Rorden shoots in looking for a takedown but Ter Harkel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rorden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown attempt by Rorden or perhaps it was just good defense by Ter Harkel, which made it look bad. Ter Harkel lands a head kick!

That was a close round but I would say that Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel will probably get the nod. Rorden controlling the pace. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rorden working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ray Rorden has got the better of the ground game so far.#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rorden leaves Ter Harkel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ter Harkel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rorden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rorden throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Ter Harkel counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rorden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Rorden. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rorden misses with a takedown attempt and Ter Harkel counters with a big head kick but Rorden shrugs it off. Rorden fails in his attempt to clinch. It appears Ter Harkel was looking to counter with a kick there.

Boots really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boots won't allow Ter Harkel to sweep him here. Ter Harkel being controlled here, momentarily. Ter Harkel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boots is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
