Jerome stuffs the takedown attempt from Larry. Larry gets slowly back to his feet.
Larry's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jerome connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Larry scrambles back to his feet.
Larry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jerome lands a glancing blow to the side of Larry's head.
Jab, jab by Jerome - just one landing.
Jerome displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Larry.
Jerome misses with a two punch combination.
Jerome throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jerome throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Larry crashing down! Larry tries to stagger back to his feet but Jerome just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Larry asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). King Jerome!
King Jerome decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Larry is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Page presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Page wants a takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Page has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
