Lotbrook prevents Malatesta from improving his position. Lotbrook wants to control but Malatesta is keeping him busy. Malatesta is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malatesta is working hard here to advance position. Malatesta makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Malatesta. Lotbrook wants to control from the top but Malatesta keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lotbrook stopping the sweep attempt from Malatesta. Malatesta bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lotbrook's guard. #REVR# Malatesta looking to pass the guard. #SUB2# Lotbrook is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Malatesta defends well. Malatesta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T1# Malatesta is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Lotbrook is defending well for now. Malatesta tries to work over Lotbrook's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Malatesta misses with some punches.

Malatesta throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A head kick misses from Malatesta. Lotbrook checks a leg kick. Malatesta misses with a shot to the body and Lotbrook counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Malatesta has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lotbrook finds it's way round the side to connect with Malatesta's head. Malatesta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Durak has momentary wrist control but Malatesta slips an elbow through the middle. Malatesta postures up and lands a big shot to Durak's brow. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Malatesta's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Durak wants to stand up but Malatesta is controlling him. Malatesta keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Durak's head. Malatesta cracks Durak with a solid left hand. Malatesta is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Malatesta lands a couple of decent looking shots. Malatesta postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Durak definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Durak is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Malatesta is in close to Durak's body, working some short punches and elbows. Malatesta working some strikes from top position. Malatesta makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Malatesta lands a couple of digs. Malatesta scoring with some ground and pound. #ROC2# Durak is rocked! Malatesta is pushing down on Durak's leg trying to pass to half guard. Durak is fighting to maintain full guard but Malatesta has managed to sneak the leg through.#T1# Malatesta lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Durak quite badly. Durak pulls Malatesta in close trying to recover. Malatesta postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Durak on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Durak doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fulton has momentary wrist control but Malatesta slips an elbow through the middle.
