#R1# Vlasov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #CL2# Davis instigates a clinch. Davis pressing his opponent against the cage. Davis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vlasov to keep the fight standing. A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis. Vlasov misses with some punches.
Vlasov being controlled against the cage. Davis jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vlasov walks away with a smile on his face. Davis gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Vlasov finds it's way through Davis's defenses. Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vlasov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Davis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Vlasov throws a wild body kick that Davis sees coming a mile off. Vlasov doesn't manage to clinch there - Davis circles away.

We've been hearing reports that Vlasov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Vlasov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Davis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vlasov smiles and moves away.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Assad's head. Vlasov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Assad is trying to control but Vlasov manages to pass to mount!
Assad is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Vlasov looking to ground and pound but Assad is blocking nicely. Vlasov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Assad is looking to improve his position but Vlasov isn't that keen on the idea. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. As Pate backs off Vlasov throws a huge counter combo but Pate manages to avoid it all. Vlasov scores with the left hand. Pate knows he should have avoided that one. #R1# Vlasov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maximus Jr. Vlasov jabs at Maximus Jr's body. Maximus Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vlasov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maximus Jr avoids it really well and circles away. Vlasov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Maximus Jr defends well and Vlasov ends up having to push Maximus Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Vlasov shoots for a takedown but Maximus Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Maximus Jr feints the counter takedown.
