David is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Angle is controlling him.
Angle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. David swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Angle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Al Din avoids it really well and circles away.

Al Din tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Angle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Angle is working to tighten his grip on Al Din's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Al Din has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Angle is really squeezing tight and eventually Al Din passes out! Angle breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Angle has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
