He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Osiansen tries to roll over but St Pierre keeps him under control. Osiansen trying to control from the bottom.
St Pierre wants to control but Osiansen is keeping him busy. St Pierre throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Osiansen is staying active underneath St Pierre, who seems content to just control the action from this position. St Pierre is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Osiansen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# St Pierre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Osiansen tries to avoid it but St Pierre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Osiansen to the ground. Osiansen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. St Pierre passes to full mount! St Pierre takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. St Pierre can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Osiansen is looking to escape. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, St Pierre cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. St Pierre with shots to the head and body - Osiansen looks very uncomfortable down there. Osiansen is still in real trouble! Can St Pierre finish him? St Pierre sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Osiansen seems to have recovered his senses. And we move into the final round! #R3##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by St Pierre. St Pierre has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Osiansen! St Pierre tries to control but Osiansen wriggling away. Osiansen is wriggling around trying to escape.

Osiansen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. St Pierre with the ground and pound from mount. #T1# St Pierre trying to control but Osiansen is having none of it. #SUB# St Pierre tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no St Pierre has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! St Pierre sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Osiansen is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). George St Pierre! In his post fight interview, George St Pierre started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
