Jonesy is in Simpson's guard.#ES# Simpson has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Jonesy is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Simpson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Simpson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jonesy just stands there and leans against the cage.#TD2# Jonesy decides to pull guard. Jonesy is adopting a defensive guard. Simpson won't allow Jonesy to sweep him here. Simpson throwing strikes from guard but Jonesy blocks nicely. Jonesy working a defensive guard here.
Jonesy controlling the position. Jonesy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.#T1# Jonesy pulls Simpson in to control the position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Jonesy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Simpson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. #T2# The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jonesy wants to clinch up but Simpson keeps it at a distance.#CL2# Jonesy has closed the distance and engaged Simpson in a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jonesy looking for a sweep. Simpson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Simpson swats away the attempt to clinch by Jonesy. Simpson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Jonesy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Simpson tries for a takedown but Jonesy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.#CL2# Jonesy clinches up against the cage. Simpson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
#TD2# Jonesy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Simpson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Jonesy controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Jonesy dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Jonesy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#TD2# Jonesy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jonesy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. #BC2# Jonesy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jonny Jonesy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Simpson enables Jonesy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Simpson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#ES# Simpson pushes Jonesy off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Simpson shoots for a double leg takedown but Jonesy sprawls well. He's pushed Simpson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jonesy wants to counter with a clinch but Simpson pushes him away. Jonesy wants to clinch but Simpson slips to the side#TD# and Simpson counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jonesy can't do much from the bottom here. #T1# A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #SU# Simpson decides to take the fight back to the feet. #TD2# Jonesy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Simpson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jonesy working away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jonesy lands a few punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Jonesy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SU2# Jonesy decides to stand back up. Jonesy steps back and let's Simpson get back to his feet.#T2# Jonesy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Simpson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jonesy's head. #T3# Simpson misses with a head shot. Jonesy uses the momentum to regain guard. Simpson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Jonesy has control of Simpson's left arm, preventing Simpson from doing any damage. Simpson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Simpson trying to control the position from guard on top but Jonesy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.#ES2# Jonesy pushes Simpson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Jonesy wants to clinch but Simpson slips to the side and Simpson counters with a left and a right that stings Jonesy. Jonesy shoots for a double leg takedown but Simpson sprawls well. He's pushed Jonesy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jonesy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Norbert Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonny Jonesy. Simpson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jonesy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Norbert Simpson will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! #R3# Simpson tries to close the distance and clinch but Jonesy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2# Jonesy rushes Simpson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jonesy wants to stall.
Jonesy is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Simpson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Simpson tries to pull guard but Jonesy holds him up against the cage and eventually Simpson drops back down to his feet.
Jonesy lands a nice shot to the body. #BC2# Jonesy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jonesy doesn't manage to clinch there - Simpson circles away.

Jonesy has escaped and now he's on top! #REVB# Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jonesy pushes down on Simpson's leg and manages to get into half guard.#T2# Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#ES# Simpson kicks Jonesy off and gets back to his feet. Jonesy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Simpson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jonesy tries to clinch up and Simpson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. A punch combination from Jonesy misses. #T3# Jonesy tries to clinch but Simpson moves out of range. Jonesy fails with the takedown#CL# and Simpson moves into the clinch. Simpson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jonesy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.#BC2# Jonesy breaks the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jonny Jonesy. I think Jonesy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
