#R1# Buckner fails with the takedown and Khan I counters with a nice uppercut. Ogedei Khan I seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan I digs a good hook to Buckner's body.
Nice uppercut lands for Khan I. That snapped Buckner's head back.
Khan I stuns Buckner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Khan I fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Buckner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Khan I lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.#CUT2# It looks like Dante Buckner has been cut. Khan I cracks Buckner on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Buckner falls backwards against the cage. Khan I follows up with more strikes that drop Buckner to his knees. Khan I keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Buckner! This one is all over!

#R1##TD2# Kazim shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buckner is trying to defend but Kazim finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Buckner is doing well to control the position and prevent Kazim from advancing to side control. Kazim seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Buckner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Buckner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kazim stalling. #SUB2# Kazim is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Buckner sees it coming and defends easily. Buckner is trying to stand up here but Kazim is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Kazim is working for a kimura but Buckner is defending it quite comfortably.

Kazim has control of Buckner's left arm, preventing Buckner from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buckner is looking to work some ground and pound but Kazim has wrist control. Buckner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Buckner throwing strikes from guard but Kazim blocks nicely. Kazim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #T3# Buckner throws an elbow that misses. Kazim uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Buckner's guard. Nice move by Kazim!#REVB# Buckner looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kazim puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kazim wants to take a breather but Buckner is having none of it. Kazim looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Buckner wants to control but Kazim is keeping busy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dante Buckner will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R1# Buckner drops his hands momentarily and Khan I takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Khan I darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Buckner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Buckner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khan I sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Buckner somewhat. Khan I misses with a double jab.
Buckner appears to be looking for a big counter. Khan I scores with a jab to the body. Khan I connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Buckner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Khan I. Khan I throws a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Buckner looks for a takedown but Khan I sprawls well. Buckner really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Khan I lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Jochi Khan I is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# Khan I listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#ROC2# Buckner is rocked! Buckner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Khan I lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Buckner is looking to close the distance but Khan I sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Buckner crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Buckner is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Jochi Khan I! A very excited looking Jochi Khan I rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Buckner. Buckner lands a few punches from side control.#SUB# Buckner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Settecroci is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Buckner really is a fat lump. Settecroci takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Buckner grinds an elbow into Settecroci's temple. Buckner working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Settecroci is looking for a sweep. Buckner lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Settecroci down.

That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Buckner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #T1# Settecroci takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
#SUB# Buckner thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Buckner scoring with punches and elbows. Buckner grinds an elbow into Settecroci's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buckner scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Settecroci to see if he's OK.#SUB# Buckner has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Settecroci is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Buckner yanks on the arm and Settecroci is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Buckner.
