Donaldson darts in looking for a takedown but Abueva gets double underhooks and turns Donaldson into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dory Donaldson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abueva throws a hook to the side of Donaldson's head but Donaldson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.#CL# Donaldson darts in and clinches Abueva up against the cage. Abueva misses with a punch on the inside.
Abueva tries to throw a body punch but Donaldson avoids it by throwing Abueva back against the cage. Donaldson tries to stall but Abueva uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Abueva lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Donaldson backwards. Donaldson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Donaldson is trying to drag Abueva to the mat but Abueva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Abueva works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Donaldson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Abueva creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Abueva working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.#ROC2# Donaldson is rocked! A short right hand to the side of the head by Abueva. Oh Donaldson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Donaldson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Abueva creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Donaldson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Donaldson drops to his knees and Abueva pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Kung tries to close the distance and clinch but Donaldson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A countering left hand to the body from Donaldson misses. Kung throws a series of punches but Donaldson moves out of range. #CL2# Donaldson instigates a clinch. Kung pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Kung tries to pull guard but Donaldson forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Donaldson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kung just stands there and leans against the cage. Kung tries to pull guard but Donaldson holds him up against the cage and eventually Kung drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davos Kung. That's going to take a lot out of him.#BC# Kung manages to break the clinch.

Kung preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Donaldson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Donaldson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kung is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
