#R1# A good leg kick by Matazz. Matazz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A good leg kick by Matazz. Nice uppercut there from Matazz. Liddell tries a head kick but it misses.
Liddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A nice leg kick lands there from Matazz. Matazz lands a high kick!
#CUT2# It looks like Chad Liddell has been cut. Matazz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Matazz scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matazz catches Liddell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Liddell fails in his attempt to clinch. Matazz lands a nice looking body kick. Matazz lands a jab. Then a cross. #R1# Liddell tries to clinch there but Juarez circles away.
Juarez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Liddell counters with a lovely shot to the body. Juarez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes.#CL2# Juarez tries to keep at a distance but Liddell has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD# Juarez gets control of Liddell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Juarez will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SUB# Juarez is looking to cinch up a triangle. Liddell throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Juarez's body to avoid the submission. Juarez has instead reached around Liddell's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Juarez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1# Nice straight punches there by Liddell. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Liddell. Good leg kick by Gilmore there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gilmore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #CL# Liddell clinches up against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Liddell is pushing Gilmore up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Gilmore tries a body shot but Liddell blocks it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Liddell stuffs the takedown. Gilmore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gilmore shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Liddell sprawls well. Liddell wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gilmore gets slowly back to his feet. Liddell swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Liddell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CL# Gilmore gets tackled into the cage by Liddell. Liddell maintains the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Gilmore misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gilmore stalling in the clinch but Liddell improves position. Gilmore tries to land knees in the clinch but Liddell avoids the damage to the body. We've been informed that Gilmore has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Gilmore creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Gilmore is pressed up against the cage. Liddell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gilmore down to the mat. Gilmore avoids the attempt though and has circled away. Gilmore lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Liddell throws a sloppy head kick and Gilmore counters with a series of strikes. Liddell will be more careful next time no doubt. #CL# Liddell drives through and clinches with Gilmore against the cage.

Gilmore fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Gilmore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Liddell moves out of range as Gilmore strikes.#CL# Liddell forces Gilmore back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Anthony Gilmore will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Anthony Gilmore's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Liddell circles away from the clinch attempt.

Gilmore unleashes a big counter combination but Liddell bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Liddell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Liddell wants to clinch but Gilmore slips to the side and Gilmore counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Liddell misses with a two punch combination.
Anthony Gilmore seems to be getting the better of the standup. Gilmore shoots in for a takedown but Liddell shows good takedown defense. Gilmore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

It seemed like Gilmore was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Gilmore throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. #T1# Gilmore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gilmore shoots in but no luck this time. Chad Liddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Liddell with a poor takedown and Gilmore counters with a left and a right that stings Liddell. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chad Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gilmore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Liddell went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gilmore! Liddell is out on his feet! Gilmore rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Liddell is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Liddell is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

#R1# Liddell misses with a takedown and Cummins counters with a lovely straight right hand! Liddell darts in trying to clinch and Cummins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jab from Cummins. Nice straight punches there by Liddell. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Liddell. Cummins is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Liddell like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Liddell from another fist facial!

#R1# Liddell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cano. Cano obviously looking to wear him down.
Cano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes. Liddell wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Liddell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CUT# It looks like Randy Cano has been cut. Liddell tests Cano's chin there with a solid looking shot. Liddell misses with a double jab
#CL2# and Cano counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Our sources have told us that Liddell has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Liddell throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cano blocks it with crossed arms. #TD# Liddell jumps guard and drags Cano to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cano trying to control the position from guard on top but Liddell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cano is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cano pushing down on Liddell's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Liddell avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cano. Liddell is staying active underneath Cano, who seems content to just control the action from this position. #T1# Liddell wants to get back to full guard. Cano throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely. #SUB# Liddell looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB2# Cano seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Liddell is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1##TD2# Liddell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bradley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Liddell takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Liddell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Liddell is keen to just control but Bradley is a slippery customer. Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bradley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bradley tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. #T1##SUB2# Liddell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. Liddell eventually gives up the hold. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Liddell gets a double leg takedown into Bradley's guard. Liddell distracts Bradley with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU2# Liddell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. #TD2# Liddell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bradley napping and manages to drive through into side control!#ES# Bradley bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#TD2# Liddell drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.#T2# Bradley wants to stand but Liddell is controlling the position. Liddell slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Bradley is trying to get back to half guard.#SUB2# Liddell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Liddell tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. #T3# Liddell is looking to take a break and control but Bradley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liddell looks up at the clock and then as Bradley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Liddell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
#T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bradley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Bradley tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bradley really is a fat lump. Liddell trying to control but he's not successful this time. #SUB2# Liddell is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bradley is surviving well by controlling Liddell's body position as best he can. #SUB2# Liddell is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Liddell extends the arm and Bradley is forced to tap!
