Durak thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Johnson to his feet! Johnson is in big trouble! Johnson fails with the takedown and Durak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#TD2# Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Durak is trying to stand up here but Johnson is controlling him well. Johnson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Durak has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Johnson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson lands strikes from half guard. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Durak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #SU2# Johnson stands up from half guard. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt and Durak counters with a one-two to the body. Durak is breathing heavily. Johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Durak counters with a straight right hand. Ivan Durak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Johnson. Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Durak counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Johnson gets the takedown into side control. #T2# Johnson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Johnson moves into full mount! You get the feeling that Durak really doesn't like being in this position too much.

This is bad for Durak! Johnson dominating with strikes here. Durak is bucking up trying to escape but Johnson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Durak trying desperately to get to his feet.
#SUB2# Durak has left one of his arms exposed and Johnson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Durak screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

A relieved looking Bubba Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Ivan Durak stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck it, I'm a man'.

#R1##TD2# Malatesta looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Malatesta working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Malatesta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Durak has momentary wrist control but Malatesta slips an elbow through the middle. Malatesta postures up and lands a big shot to Durak's brow. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Malatesta's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Durak wants to stand up but Malatesta is controlling him. Malatesta keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Durak's head. Malatesta cracks Durak with a solid left hand. Malatesta is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Malatesta lands a couple of decent looking shots. Malatesta postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Durak definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Durak is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Malatesta is in close to Durak's body, working some short punches and elbows. Malatesta working some strikes from top position. Malatesta makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Malatesta lands a couple of digs. Malatesta scoring with some ground and pound. #ROC2# Durak is rocked! Malatesta is pushing down on Durak's leg trying to pass to half guard. Durak is fighting to maintain full guard but Malatesta has managed to sneak the leg through.#T1# Malatesta lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Durak quite badly. Durak pulls Malatesta in close trying to recover. Malatesta postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Durak on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Durak doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alessandro Malatesta! The defeated Ivan Durak had this to say: 'Fuck it, I'm a man'.

#R1# Durak throws a hook but Odonnell blocks it.#CL# Odonnell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Odonnell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Durak's efforts to push away. Durak throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Odonnells head. #CUT2# It looks like Len Odonnell has been cut. Durak has had enough of the clinch but Odonnell keeps him there for the moment.#BC2# Durak manages to break the clinch.
Odonnell moves out of range as Durak strikes. Odonnell changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Durak misses with a few strikes there.
Odonnell shoots and misses and Durak counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Odonnell badly! Durak follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Odonnell out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Durak finished him against the cage.

#R1##KD2# Durak cracks Roach with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Roach looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Durak finish him?
#CUT2# It looks like Graig Roach has been cut. Durak finds Roach's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Roach flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Durak lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Roach will be OK.
