Lesnar pulls Myres into guard.
Myres wants to get up but he can't break Lesnar's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lesnar is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Myres utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Myres wants to get back to his feet but Lesnar is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lesnar is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Myres doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Lesnar crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Lesnar's bad books for that mishap!

A short body shot lands from Chestnar as the two fighters clinch.
Chestnar stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Lesnar is fighting off a takedown attempt but Chestnar is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lesnar to the mat. Lesnar regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
