Sloan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Williams smiles and moves away.

#TD2# Williams feints and as Sloan raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#ES# Sloan has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Williams is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Sloan is trying to pull guard but Williams has him pressed against the cage. Williams tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#TD2# Williams jumps guard and drags Sloan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sloan throws a big right hand that misses. Sloan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Williams looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sloan is one step ahead there. #T1# Williams pulls Sloan in to control the position. Sloan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Williams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sloan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Williams doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Williams wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.

He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.#T2# Williams keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sloan's head. Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. Williams tries to stand and escape but Sloan is controlling the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Williams lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Williams scores with a couple of good hammerfists.#T4# It looks like Williams is going to stand back up.
Williams slows the pace down in half guard. Williams landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Williams not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sloan! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sloan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffery Williams dominated that round. The cut man is working on Manual Sloan's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2# Williams throws a series of punches but Sloan moves out of range. Sloan blocks the body kick.
Williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sloan makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Williams really felt that one!#TD2# Williams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sloan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sloan wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Williams manages to pass to side control. #REVR# Williams controlling the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sloan wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.
#T1# Williams is nestled in close to Sloan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Williams in particular looking to stall. Williams moves nicely into side control. Jeffery Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Williams is chipping away with strikes.
Williams lands a nice forearm strike. Sloan pushes Williams away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Williams gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Williams scoring with punches from side control. #CUT2# Manual Sloan's cut is getting worse.#SU2# Williams stands up. Sloan tries to clinch but Williams moves out of range. #TD2# Williams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sloan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Williams is in Sloan's guard. Williams working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Williams distracts Sloan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Williams controls the pace of the fight for a moment.#T3# Sloan thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Williams seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Williams works a leg free and moves into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#SUB2# Williams seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Sloan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
